Commemorating  251st of Mon Kingdon Hongsawatoi Fallen Day

and Praying for Cyclone's Victims in Monland-Burma

Mon Community of Akron (MRC-Akron) and Mon Women's Association of America (Akron) commemorated the 251st Anniversary of the fallen day of Mon Kingdom Hongsawatoi in order to remember who were killed by Burman ruler U Aung Zeya in 1757. On this tragic day, about 50 people held demonstration in downtown Akron  and  called on the UNSC to apply "Responsibility to Protect" in order to help cyclone's victims in Burma.
