Welcome ceremony of Mi Aie Sorn, Vice Chairperson of Mon Youth Progressive Organization (MYPO)

Mon Communities in both Fort Wayne, Indiana and Akron, Ohio held welcome ceremonies to welcome Mi Aie Sorn as well as to exchange views and ideas on the future of Mon youths. Mi Aie  Sorn arrived at New York on April 20, 2008 to attend the Seventh Session of  United Nations Permanent Forum for Indigenous Issues.  After attending the Session, she was invited to visit Mon communities in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Akron, Ohio, and Buffalo, New York.
