Mon Children participated in Children Festival

Fort Wayne, Indiana

On July 19, 2008, Mon children were invited to participate in the Children Festival in Fort Wayne, Indiana. At the festival, three Mon children performed three Mon cultural dances. Their performances were praised by the audiences. Besides, MRC members Nai Htaw Ong and Nai Ramarn exhibited galleries, photos, and old Mon scripts written on palm leaves from Monalnd. Mon children have been invited every year to the festival to perform Mon cultural dances.
