Mon Women's Association of America (MWAA) Participated in Culture Expos

October 2, 2008-- MWAA was invited to participated in Culture Expos in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  The event was sponsored by Arts in order different cultural organizations to coordinate each other. To do so, each organization was allowed to introduce about their organization about three minutes. Mi Pakao Rot Mon, vice chairman women of MWAA introduced about MWAA  including its objectives and its activities.  MWAA also distributed flyers about Mon history, Mon people in Fort Wayne and their activities.  Please click here for detail.  About 19 organizations which have received grant to promote arts and culture participated in the event. MWAA has been receiving grant from Knight Foundation for two years in order to promote Mon culture and heritage in the United States.
