Nai Chit Thein Funeral Service

Nai Chit Thein passed away in Fort Wayne on May 12, 2009. His funeral service was held on May 17, 2009.  About 200 people attended the service. The service was held with  Mon custom service. The Mon people from Akron, Dayton, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Canada joined the service . The family members, Nai Ong Mon and Nai Layeh Mon, thanked to the Mon communities in the U.S. for their help on Nai Chit Thein funeral service.   Nai Chit Thein is  brother to  Mi Sann Tin,  Mi Dot, and Nai Ong Mon.  Nai Chit Thein fled  Burma to escape from Burmese army persecutions and immigrated to  the U.S. as a refugee.
