MRC-Fort Wayne Participating in the Asian Festival

in Columbus, Ohio

MRC-Fort Wayne was invited to participate in the Asian Festival in Columbus, Ohio on May 29, 2010. At the festival, Mon group  performed two Mon traditional dances. The dances were accompanied by music which was played by different types of Mon musical instruments.  The audience were only interested in colourful Mon traditional dances but also Mon musical instruments. These instruments were brought from Monland (Lower Burma) two years ago.  This is fourth year for the MRC-Fort Wayne to be invited to participate in the festival. The Asian Festival is one of the largest cultural festival in the United States.
