Mons community  in Fort Wayne has celebrated the  62nd anniversary of Mon National day on February 7, 2009 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The celebration  was opened by slating Mon national flag and followed by the welcome speech of MRC-Fort Wayne’s chairman Nai Michael Mon. The celebration was joined by about 400 people including local political  and community leaders. People enjoyed Mon cultural dance, live Mon modern music and Mon traditional food.  Mon national day has been celebrated every year around the world  in order to celebrate Mon identity and heritage.
